Most technical founders lose funding in the first three minutes.

Not because their idea isn't brilliant. Not because their deck isn't polished. Because they failed to understand that VCs don't back pitches, they back people.

The Problem

You've built something world-changing. You can explain it to other technical experts. But when you get 15 minutes with a top-tier VC:

The result? You lose the room. (And the funding.)

This isn't a "communication skills" problem. It's a coherence problem. There is a disconnect between your idea and your presence in the room. Investors feel it. And it's what's stopping your idea from achieving its full potential.

The Approach

I combine Meisner-based acting training, philosophical rigour, and narrative structure to help you:

The Work

Founder Presence Intensive — Three-month engagement for technical founders preparing for funding rounds.

Phase 1: Discovery (Weeks 1-2)
Deep diagnostic on where the disconnect happens between your thinking and your presence in the room.

Phase 2: Transformation (Weeks 3-8)
Weekly sessions combining presence work, philosophical inquiry, and narrative architecture. Not tips—actual transformation through practice.

Phase 3: Performance Prep (Weeks 9-12)
Full rehearsals under pressure, handling hostile questions, final calibration before your actual pitch meetings. Plus a review, debrief and fine tuning session if needed.

Investment: £12,000 - £18,000 depending on funding round stakes.

Not sure if this is right for you? Start with a Pitch Audit (£1,000, 90 minutes): You do your pitch, I give you a brutally honest assessment of what's working and what's costing you credibility.

Why Dominic Morgan?

Most communication training teaches people how to fake confidence. I teach people how to stop needing to.

I trained as an acting teacher under a direct student of Sanford Meisner, where I taught actors to "live truthfully under imaginary circumstances". I hold a BSc in Philosophy, Logic & Scientific Method from the London School of Economics and have worked inside corporations such as BNY Mellon, Michael Page, and BBH London.

For over fifteen years, I've delivered storytelling training for brands including Guinness, Stella Artois, and Freixenet Wines. I'm also a published playwright and run the London storytelling night TellTales.

I'm not trying to teach you to perform better. I show you how to become the kind of founder investors want to back—so that when you walk into the room, they lean in.
